Glaze Beauty UK is the data controller for the information described in this policy. We operate in the United Kingdom and also take bridal bookings for destination weddings abroad.

If you have any question about your data, or you would like to exercise any of the rights set out below, please get in touch through the contact page.

Booking information: your name, email address, telephone number, chosen service, appointment date and any notes you add when booking through our online scheduling system.

Service records: hair history, unit specification, colour formulas, density and cut preferences, and any allergy, sensitivity or scalp condition you disclose, so that every appointment is safe and consistent.

Order information: delivery address, order contents and order value in GBP. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored by us.

Bridal enquiries: wedding date, venue or destination, party size and timings needed to plan the morning.

Website information: basic analytics such as pages viewed and approximate location, collected through cookies as described in our cookies policy.

To manage appointments, deposits and reminders, and to prepare custom units ahead of your date.

To fulfil product orders, arrange delivery and handle returns or order queries.

To answer enquiries, provide consultation advice and issue aftercare guidance.

To keep accounting and tax records as required by law, and to protect against fraud or misuse.

With your consent, to send occasional updates about new services, restocks and bridal availability. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We rely on contract where processing is needed to deliver a service or order you have booked, legitimate interests to run and improve the business safely, consent for marketing messages and non-essential cookies, and legal obligation for financial records.

Health-related details such as allergies or scalp conditions are only recorded with your explicit consent and are used solely to keep your service safe.

We never sell your data. It is shared only with the providers needed to operate the business: our online booking and scheduling platform, payment processors, delivery partners, email and website hosting providers, and our accountant.

Each provider may only use your information to deliver their service to us. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Records are kept only as long as needed for the purpose collected: enquiry records for up to twelve months, client service records for up to six years so we can safely repeat colour and unit work, and financial records for six years as required by HMRC.

Some providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards such as UK approved transfer clauses are in place.

Information is protected with access controls, secure accounts and encrypted connections, and only the people who need it can see it.

You can request a copy of the information we hold, ask for corrections, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and ask for your data to be transferred elsewhere.

We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We may ask to photograph completed work for the portfolio and social channels. Photographs are only published with your permission, and you can ask us to remove an image at any time.
